Well it's been a short, tiring journey but the CDI Karaoke Japan set has finally run its preservation course.
Out of 172 discs, 10 were deemed unable to be properly dumped. Off they were shipped, to the ever-helpful savior of discs - superg - and his beastly, industrial grade resurfacer.
If this can't save your fucked up disc, nothing can.
Through the other side of the tunnel, 3 discs were saved. Leaving 7 imperfect dumps in the end. The remaining discs seem to have some kind or another of label damage, so they've been uploaded in best-possible-dump along with the others.
